Alicante's favorite promenade
The beautiful marble-mosaic Explanada de España runs right alongside the harbor. There are 6.5 million marble stones at your feet, as you stroll along - a genuine work of art. The esplanade is enhanced by tall palm trees, and chic street lights.
Explanada de España is also a popular meeting place for the locals. There are many concerts in the summer here, and other live events. At the end of the promenade you can find a monument by Mark Hersch.
