A passion for photography
FOAM, or Photography Museum Amsterdam, focuses on the rich past, present and future of photography. Located in a renovated canal-side house and equipped with an excellent café with lots of periodicals, it exhibits works of all stripes.
Exhibitions include everything from portraits and events by Malian Malick Sidibé to street photography by American Helen Levitt and crime scene photos from the Amsterdam police archives.
