Gone are the days of huge clubs pumping out house music to crowds of wired good-timers. Sure, a certain decadence will always exist, but recently it has all become more cosy, with smaller clubs like Sugar Factory, Flex, Studio 80, Bitterzoet and Club 8, where both intimacy and boogie-ing reign supreme. And don't forget the icons: the former church Paradiso and the former milk factory Melkweg still not only bring in the best bands but also host some of the best club nights.
