Catch the tail end of clubbing decadence
The Amsterdam nightclubs that were pumping out house music to crowds of wired good-timers are now gone. Sure, a certain decadence will always exist, but recently it has all become more cosy, with smaller clubs like Sugar Factory, Flex, Studio 80, Bitterzoet and Club 8, where both intimacy and boogie-ing reign supreme. And don’t forget Amsterdam’s nightclub icons: the former church Paradiso and the former milk factory Melkweg still not only bring in the best bands but also host some of the best club nights.
