The largest Dutch department store chain
Vroom & Dreesman (V&D) is a moderately priced department store which caters to the middle class shopper. There is a wide range of products available, excellent quality, no nonsense. Their fresh food shop, Mangerie, and restaurant, La Place, which offers light meals, are quite popular with tourists.
Vroom & Dreesman’s La Place has its own bakery. Pizza, soup and sandwiches are on the menu. You can browse through the store which sells everything: clothing, shoes, kitchen utensils, home electric appliances, furniture, china, stationary, camping equipment, books and CD´s, then stop for a bit of refreshment.
