Casino gambling, a famous boardwalk, and seaside charm

Casino gambling is what drives tourists in Atlantic City, although there are enough other attractions to add to an Atlantic City travel guide. Beach fun on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, which features an amusement park with rides, games and food, the Atlantic City historical museum and Atlantic City Art Center. Atlantic City offers plenty recreational activities as well, you can go swimming, tanning, fishing, or surfing on the beach at the Jersey Shore. Last, but not least, don’t forget to visit the Monopoly Monument - directly related to the world’s favorite board game!

The museum is located on the Garden Pier - the beautiful views from the museum onto the beach and ocean are a great backdrop to one’s experience. This is a “must see” collection of exhibits that include vintage photographs and artifacts from Atlantic City’s past.

Stay Editor's Note

The Atlantic City Historical Museum, located on Garden Pier, presents the culturally diverse history of Atlantic City.

The permanent exhibit at Atlantic City Historical Museum: “Atlantic City, Playground of the Nation,” includes vintage photographs, local artifacts, costumes, posters and postcards, Miss America memorabilia and a video presentation.
