Barcelona is bar central
Barcelona’s bars and pubs are at the city’s core. Barcelona is said to have more places to drink per capita than anywhere else in the world. When the atmosphere is relaxed and the beers and wine are this good, who’s counting? In any central district you’ll find an array of cafes, tapas bars and straight-up bars, but try to head away from the main tourist drags (such as Port Olímpic) and seek out something with more local colour.
