A tapas treat in Boqueria market
Amid the colour and hubbub of the Boqueria market just off La Rambla there are a number of excellent tapas bars. El Quim de la Boqueria is clearly the most popular, with hungry customers waiting two-deep for tantalising dishes of ham, cheese, succulent squid and roasted peppers.
With such delicious food on offer it's easy to forget about shopping altogether, but more importantly, El Quim de la Boqueria is authentic.
