There's just one authentic pub worth visiting in Beijing, Paddy O'Shea's on Dongzhimenwai; but if it's a bar you want, the choices are endless. Face Bar is a gorgeous mishmash of East meets West styles, while the ever-popular Q Bar serves up expertly made cocktails at surprisingly cheap prices. The ultra-hip Bed is a minimalist space hidden in a hard to find courtyard and I Ultra Lounge – the adopted home of Beijing's young nouveau riche – is unashamedly flashy.
