The Centro is the go-to neighborhood for late-night entertainment, lively cafés and tapas, reasonably priced restaurants, cinema and everything else you imagine fun. A shopper’s paradise, the Centro provides everything from bargains to luxury fashion. Not far from the beach, the center of the city is, however, more affordable in terms of accommodation - the most expensive are the beach-front hotels in Parte Vieja and Levante.

Levante is popular for its beach, the Levante Playa, which is so close to the old city and the Centro, that it can be accessed on foot. Levante is one of the more popular tourist destinations in the summer, attracting large crowds on the beach, but also on the beautiful Avenida Mare de Déu del Sofratge promenade. The neighborhood is lively all year round. There are no age restrictions, and the fun never stops: water sports, jet skiing, scuba diving, all night parties… you name it.

Parte Vieja, the old quarter of Benidorm, boasts some of the most interesting attractions in the city, and splendid views from Placa del Castell. It’s a quirky neighborhood, popular mainly with tourists, who enjoy the tapas hangouts on Calle de Santo Domingo, late night adult entertainment on Carrer del Pal, or strolling and shopping on Passeig de la Carretera. There are many architectural gems here as well, especially churches, and up north, l'Aiguera Park is to die for.

Benidorm’s other famous beach, Poniente, gives its name to this lively district, which, despite its proximity to the old town, is less crowded than Levante, and a bit more authentic. A local favorite, Poniente has, nevertheless, a good share of touristic attractions, including Terra Mitica - a huge theme park with a variety of rides, ideal for family entertainment. And don’t miss the scenic Mirador del Castillo, where once stood the Benidorm Castle, now a scenic observation deck.
