Memorial and museum

KZ-Sachsenhausen is a museum and memorial dedicated to one of the Nazi concentration camps. It was used almost entirely for political prisoners, but was later used as an extermination camp, as well.

Today, KZ-Sachsenhausen is an educational site that frequently caters to school groups, as well as curious tourists. While you can explore on your own, group prices are quite reasonable, provided you have enough people. The tours are also available in other languages for a fee. On occasion, there are also specially themed tours offered here.
