Ecclectic and artsy hang out
Now the Speakeasy, your can come here late for potentially weird but friendly conversations with the band members or their groupies, or for the frequent toned-down jam with visiting luminaries in the FTB orbit.
The history: American goth band Frank the Baptist needed a hangout from which to explore some unanticipated success in Europe, and chose a failed Indian restaurant in a subterranean space next to the Deutsches Theater.Don’t expect polished service or a full house of people to look at: the name and obscure location don’t exactly attract folks off the street, though anyone willing to buy a drink is surely welcome.
