Because of the EU and business travellers Brussels is awash with hotels. Brussels hotels have weekend rates considerably cheaper than week rates, and there are some great offers in the summer when the politicians are on holiday. Everything is here from small boutique hotels to the big chains – which tend to cluster around the EU Quarter and Place Rogier. Stars in Belgium are awarded for services rather than grandness.
