Remembering Margritte's surrealist art
Musee René Magritte occupies the same house in which the Belgian surrealist painter worked. As his studio for nearly 24 years, the ground floor of the museum shows the apartment rented by Magritte with wife Georgette between 1930-1954.
Here at Musee Rene Magritte you’ll also find a biographical exhibition, dedicated completely to the painter and his contribution to art and culture. This is the only of Magritte’s residences open to the public, and likely the most fascinating to see.
