Argentinian-Asian fusion
Named for Francisco ‘Paco’ Urondo, one of Argentina’s radical poets of the late 1960s, this cosy corner spot is run by his grandson Javier and nephew Sebastián, who turns out amazingly creative dishes that are a fusion of classic Argentinian with intense South-east Asian influences.
Plate after plate delights the senses with unusual spices in incredible harmony. When they have it, the asparagus tart can’t be beaten, and the ossobuco (veal) risotto with gremolata (garlic, parsley and lemon sauce) is out of this world.
