The Man in the Iron Mask
Tour du Masque - Legend has it that the famous “Man in the Iron Mask” escaped from his prison on Sainte-Marguerite Island, to come out and live his last years in this old, 12th century tower.
According to the tales of local folk, the ghost of the Man in the Iron Mask still haunts this tower on dark nights.
Although you will be unlikely to see any ghosts on the Tour du Masque, you will at least be able to see some fantastic views of old Cannes and the Suquet area, that much is guaranteed!
