You need to travel to Sainte-Marguerite island to be able to visit Musée de la Mer, a unique maritime museum that is devoted to a better understanding of the deep.
At Musée de la Mer you’ll come across many artifacts and treasures of the deep, with remnants of shipwrecked boats dating back to beyond the time of the Romans.
Musée de la Mer is also near to the fortress prison on the island, which held the infamous Man in the Iron Mask.
