Plenty to do for locals and tourists
In Chicago, attractions come in large amount, given the size of the city itself, that leaves visitors who have only a week here merely scracthing the surface. There are attractions designed specifically for tourism (Navy Pier, once an active military outpost), and others built for function (the L, the historic Water Tower). There are those created by nature (the lake, the beaches), and those erected with bragging rights in mind (Sears Tower), and much more. What they all add up to is the Chicago experience, a place where you never run out of things to see or do – certainly not in a week or two.
