From design hotel to hostel, Scandinavian standards apply
While the design hotel concept hit Copenhagen hard a few years ago, the bulk of the city's rooms remain reliably generic. Prices are fairly standard across the city, with very few cheap rooms (and, equally, not so many outrageously priced ones). The bulk of the Copenhagen hotels tend to clamor chaotically around the main train station; other central hotels are better located. Those on a tight budget would do well to check out the new city center hostel, which surprises with its smart design.
