With everything from the history of civil disobedience to modern art installations, Copenhagen's many museums offer far more than dusty glass cabinets. The most enjoyable ones woo the visitor with dramatic architecture, be it modern (Ordrupgaard / The Black Diamond) or older (Glyptoteket). Children are considered almost everywhere, with family-friendly cafes, accessibility and special kids' areas offered at the large museums. More obscure are Nørrebro's Police Museum, Vesterbrogade's City Museum and the Medical-History Museum on Bredgade.
