Quiet weekday, wild weekend
For the best in Copenhagen’s nightclubs, give the city centre a miss and venture out into the boroughs. Veterans Vega (Vesterbro), Rust (Nørrebro) and Parken (Østerbro) continue to pull in the clubbers, while new venues are opening up all the time in Vesterbro’s gentrified Kødbyen district. The best parties happen in the strangest of places – the Round Tower, for instance. Be warned, though: a Monday in Copenhagen can seem very quiet, with the city only starting to perk up around Wednesday.
