Making the stuff of dreams
One of of the only two places in the United States where paper currency is printed, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing of Ft. Worth offers tours daily. For obvious reasons, arriving early for security clearance is a good idea. The venue is a great educational experience for kids and grownups.
From the making of the plates for printing money, to the ink and idiosyncrasies particular to US currency, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing not only handles mountains of cash, but is a storehouse of fascinating information as well.
Visitors can look forward to a gift shop on top of their “money making educational” experience.
