In business since 1198
The Brazen Head claims to be Ireland’s oldest pub (it’s not) but it’s been in operation since 1198 and the rebel Robert Emmett planned an uprising here in 1802.
Today it offers trad music, real fires and the tastiest warm bar nuts in the country. Thinking positively, the high quota of tourists adds to its ‘good time’ atmosphere.
