Edinburgh Art Galleries
Sheer art attack
As a national capital, visitors would expect Edinburgh art galleries to be well fixed for flagship galleries and they would be right. Behind its columns, the National Gallery Complex at the Mound for example offers everything from Raphael or Titian to Gauguin as well as important local painters. The city also boasts a vibrant, contemporary scene however and a great selection of small independent galleries selling the best of today's Scottish talent.
