Another of Edinburgh's rare architectural gems

Mansfield Place Church is a former Catholic Apostolic church built in 1872. The church has been used for a variety of purposes, including as a nightclub ironically. Built on the High Victorian style, the building is now operated as a museum by a local trust.

The church houses, among other artifacts, a series of Phoebe Anna Traquair murals. Other artistic gems are also on display at this lovely site. It is well worth your time to stop by and take in still another of Edinburgh’s unsung gems of architecture and history.
