Catching a great ship back in time
The Royal Yacht Britannia sit moored at the docks in Edinburgh after over 40 years of service as the Royal Family's pleasure yacht. Christened by the Queen herself in the year of her coronation, she is the last in a series of of ships used by the monarchs. The ship is now open to visitors.
Self-led audio tours allow visitors to tour this marvelous and historic ship. From the immaculate engine room, to the Queen's bedchamber and dining salon, everything about this vessel speaks of stately excellence. Hours are seasonal, so please inquire for your visit.
