Edinburgh Shopping
It's a fair shop, guv
Edinburgh shopping is quite an experience. From Jenners and Harvey Nichols to upmarket clothes shops on George Street, a selection of individual designer outlets and a shopping mall with the Royal Yacht Britannia berthed adjacent, everything spells quality. Then there's cheesemonger I J Mellis, delicatessen Valvona & Crolla, plus whisky shops like Cadenhead's and Royal Mile Whiskies, among the best of their kind anywhere. Princes Street is predictable – there are more interesting pickings elsewhere.
