The world's second largest UN offices
UNOG is the 2nd largest of four major office sites of the United Nations. UNOG is located in the Palais des Nations building built for the League of Nations between 1929 and 1938. Like other Unite Nations offices it host not only administrative offices, but any number of other programs as well.
The United Nations and its specialized agencies have other offices or functions hosted outside the Palais des Nations in office spaces provided by the Swiss Government. For visitors however, the main UNOG offices bear the most historical significance as well as aesthetic appeal.
Of particular interest to some visitors, the UNOG library is a massive archive of information and history as well. Please inquire about visiting UNOG as tours and public access may be limited.
