A view of France and Switzerland
There is disagreement as to whether Le Salève is a Swiss mountain or a French one. The peak dominates Geneva’s skyline, creating the border between France and Switzerland. Locals spend a great deal of time on the mountain enjoying its natural gifts. You can walk or take the cable car to the top.
The Salève mountain is actually in France technically, but whichever country it belongs to is irrelevant considering its beauty. Expect a spectacular view from the top, and great walks amid some extraordinary flora and fauna. Also, if mountain biking is your thing, this is a beautiful place to ride too.
