Mini-Zoo for Children
At the Barnens Zoo children get a chance to interact with many different species of animals in their natural habitat. Farm animals like pigs, ducks, sheep, and goats are allowed to roam freely in an enclosure. Children can get close and pet these friendly animals.
There is a special event at Barnens Zoo every afternoon. From 2:00 pm to 2:15 pm, you can walk up close to some arctic animals like penguins and seals and watch them while they are being fed by the zoos’ keepers.
To get to the Barnens Zoo, you can take trams 1, 2, or 7 going to Botaniska trädgården.
