Art and pure Havana history

A three-block-long open-air exhibition of paintings by dozens of independent artists is set up every Saturday afternoon along El Prado.

The work varies in quality – stooping to touristy renderings of ‘57 Chevys – but it’s worth a look. Officially, the work is for exhibition and not for sale on site, though negotiating may be possible.
