Busy, beautiful, lively, and passionate, like Havana's heart
Calle Obispo links Plaza de Armas with Parque Central, and aside being one of the most touristy streets in Habana Vieja, this is also the place where you’ll see the most beautiful girls, who come here to shop, meet their friends and have fun. Calle Obispo was the first paved the main road in Havana.
This says a lot of the street’s past importance, in fact, its name literally translates Bishop’s Street, because this was a favorite meeting point for the ecclesiastics of the 18th century. Today, the street is an important shopping destination, and it is one of those parts of Havana that never sleep, with crowds passing by day and night.
