Explore centuries of intrigue in Havana's museums
With over 500 years of history it’s no surprise that most visitors head straight for La Habana Vieja (Old Havana) – the city’s historical core. Here the standard of exhibits is high, with new Havana museums opening regularly and the city’s fascinating history is easy to assess within the labyrinth of ancient cobbled streets. However, while many of the museums are located here, there are a few that you should venture further afield to see – particularly in Vedado. Most museums are closed on Monday.
