Havana is truly like no other place in the world, and there’s never been a better time to visit. Here, you’ll wander through the crumbling colonial facades of Habana Vieja, a UNESCO world heritage site, snap photos of vintage cars and revolutionary icons, take in the rhythms of Cuban music, and and immerse yourself in city’s both heritage and its rapidly changing present.

El Floridita

Harking back to Hemingway's day

Stay Editor's Note

The food is expensive in El Floridita but is worth it if only for the sheer ambiance redolent of the grand old days when Hemingway himself drank his daiquiri here.

There is an elegant circular dining area with marble pillars and sultry lighting. Lavish and inventive dishes include flaming shrimp in rum and lobster thermidor.
