Museum and memorial, honoring the submariners lost during World War II
A memorial since 1971, the Bowfin submarine is now part of the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, owned and operated by the Pacific Fleet Submarine Memorial Association. It is one of the main tourist attractions at Pearl Harbor, a must for your Honolulu travel guide.
The USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park features exhibits and artifacts about submarines and the history of the United States Submarine Service. The Bowfin submarine itself is also a memorial honoring the 52 American submarines and the more than 3,500 submariners lost during World War II.
