Oldfields-Lilly House & Gardens is another of Indianapolis' National Historic Landmarks. The house is a 22-room mansion surrounded by a lavish landscape of gardens of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The house and grounds are now open for the public to enjoy.
This beautiful spot offers visitors a look at one of Indianapolis’s most interesting and prominent families, the Josiah K Lilly Jr. Family. A lot about this city is inextricably linked to this great American family, and this preserved home and gardens is a nice slice of Indy and US history.
