Timeless classics for young and old
The Toy & Miniature Museum of Kansas City is a specialty museum, located on UMKC’s campus, featuring one of the largest collections of antique toys, games, dolls, doll-houses and scale miniatures in the Midwest. The collections are refined enough to be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
The Toy & Miniature Museum houses many rare items, including the Cathy and Larry Svacina marble collection, a pair of dueling pistols with a working mechanism, and a fully furnished American Georgian Manor. The experience is both entertaining and educational. Many aspects of American history and tradition are immortalized in toys and miniatures. A must see.
