Once the residence of the Lubomirski princes, the Nowy Wisnicz Castle is located SE of Krakow, in beautiful surroundings. The Lubomirskis were for a time amongst the most powerful clans in all Europe, and the castle still reflects their past glory.
With a beautiful collection presenting the past, Nowy Wisnicz Castle is worth the one hour trip. The descendants of the princes managed to reclaim the castle, however they do not live here.
