Contemporary art exhibitions from local talents
Located inside the Central Market, the Annexe Gallery showcases performances, workshops and art exhibitions of serious up and coming local artists. It was launched on January 2007 to be a hub for contemporary artists.
The present generation is fortunate to have the Annexe Gallery as it aims to promote and improve ideas and insights as well as inspire the youth to dwell in the arts. The Annexe Gallery regularly hosts events in collaboration which promote the local arts including the Arts for Grabs event in which people get a chance to buy original art works at wholesale prices.
The Annexe Gallery is famous for showcasing diverse art themes including alternative nature, political, multi-disciplinary and even those that are unclassifiable. It is also known to be believer in the freedom of expression.
