Exotic butterflies
Within the compounds of the Lake Gardens Park, Kuala Lumpur’s famous Butterfly Park is an enchanting imitation of a natural habitat for butterflies. The park contains more than 6,000 butterflies from 120 different exotic species.
Butterfly Park is a wonderful sight to behold. Aside from the dazzling colors of the butterflies, the landscape is tremendously beautiful with a hydro-pond and a limestone path leading to the centre. There are 15,000 plants inside from 100 distinct species, nature enthusiasts will love this rainforest-like environment.
To make your trip in the Butterfly Park unforgettable, purchase souvenirs from the shop right at the exit where you can buy framed beetles and butterflies. Admission is RM5 for adults and just RM1 for children. It is open daily from 9AM to 6PM.
