London Bars & Pubs
Designer bars and trad boozers still thrive
After the criminal London bars and pubs 'makeovers' of the 1990s, recent years have seen many regular pubs return to the old-boozer style, but head to places like the Lamb in Lamb's Conduit Street for a glimpse at how beautiful a genuine traditional London pub used to be. London bars abound, some still with DJ sets later in the evening, but many more with the emphasis on a good wine and cocktail menu. Head for the terraces along the South Bank for the prettiest views as you drink.
