Fly over London in the London Eye
Built in 2000, the London Eye was originally only going to stand for a few years, but Londoners immediately saw it as an iconic landmark, a symbol of modern London with a right to its place on the capital’s skyline.
The London Eye is not only London’s leading paid attraction, and a fantastic experience, but also an amazing piece of engineering. From 135m high above London at the top of the 40-minute ride passengers can see as far as 40km in all directions.
