London Museums
Home to four of the ten most popular museums in the world
London has 250 museums, and the British Museum is at number one, with an incredible 5.4 million visits in 2007. The reintroduction of free admission to national London museums in 2002 was welcome news to Londoners and visitors alike. And, handily for tourists, three of the greats – the Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and Science Museum – are all located on easy-to-remember Exhibition Road.
