Museum of cinema
Musée Lumière at Institut Lumière boasts the extraordinary inventions of the Lumière brothers, two of the earliest filmmakers in history. The museum displays interactive demonstrations of “pre-cinema” devices, as well as various devices that preceded the Cinematograph.
Musée Lumière also offers projections of Lumière films with commentary, and many unusual inventions and objects. Tours available in English, German, Spanish and Italian.
