One of Malaga's most extraordinary structures
The Town Hall (Ayuntamiento) was built between 1912 and 1919, and is one of the most remarkable modern buildings in all Malaga. Among the numerous interesting aspects of the building’s structure, the artistically outlined windows, main stairs, and iron works are among the most looked at.
Aside the architectural magic of Fernando Guerrero Strachan and Manuel Rivera Vera, who designed this building, the gardens outside are a thing of green wonderment. Combined with the expanse of the hall itself, the lush vegetation and walkways outside provide a truly inspiring sight. Be sure and take a walk around the gardens here.
