Mallorca restaurants, as Menorca restaurants, may not be sophisticated, but what they lack in refinement they more than make up for in taste and the freshness of the ingredients. Popular dishes are rustic with a hint of Arabic influences from the island’s Moorish past. Delicious ham, game such as rabbit and partridge, Mallorcan lamb and, of course, a lot of tomato, garlic and olive oil all feature in dishes and, unsurprisingly for two Mediterranean islands, the seafood is fabulous.
