One of Europe’s largest exhibition halls for contemporary art
Malmö Konsthall was designed by architect Klas Anshelm and opened in 1975. He was inspired in his design by Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi and his studio in Paris. The idea was to create an exhibition space that offers the artists endless possibilities.
Malmö Konsthall has featured such artists as Munch, van Gogh, Kandinsky, Klee, Miró, Giacometti, César, Keith Haring, Andres Serrano, Louise Bourgeois, Peter Greenaway and Tony Cragg. Malmö Konsthall also boasts a variety of programmes for children and adults.
