A history of local transportation
The Technology and Maritime House (Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus) is a museum that explores all different modes of transportation that have been used in Malmo at one time or another. Among the exhibits are old trams, cars, steam engines, and even an jet-powered aeroplane.
The biggest highlight of the Technology & Maritime House however, simply has to be its submarine, which visitors are allowed to explore. In addition, they have something called an ‘experimental knowledge fair’, which allows visitors to attempt various chemistry and physics experiments. Finally, everyone gets to enjoy an old-fashioned tram ride before the go home!
Children aged six years and under can enter for free, while there are discounts for students and groups.
