A piece of architectural craftsmanship
Replacing the church with the same name destroyed in the great fire of the beginning of the 20th century, Chiesa del Carmine dates from 1931 and is one of the favorite places of worship in the city.
The careful architectural style evokes the direction of the Messina architecture of the 18th century. The church is one of the most important projects of architect Cesare Bazzani. The interior is shaped like a Greek cross with six chapels on the laterals.
