Residential Art-Deco home
The construction of Fraccionamiento Hipódromo-Condesa was started in 1925 and was considered to be one of the most significant urban residential projects during the post-revolutionary era of Mexico’s history.
The Fraccionamiento Hipódromo-Condesa measures over 300,000 square meters over the land previously belonging to the Jockey Club. The residential area is oval-shaped as it was built on top of the old racetrack. The place was inaugurated during the term of Porfirio Diaz.
Fraccionamiento Hipódromo-Condesa offers a unique feature of having an abundant Art-Deco in the surroundings making it a popular tourist spot. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area where you can rest after visiting the place.
